Curriculum Development & Instructional Innovation The board received an update on curriculum development efforts, including new social studies curriculum and elementary instructional materials. District leaders, Jerad Farley and Scott Depew, shared how teachers across grade levels are collaborating to create engaging, practical lessons aligned to student needs and focused on continuous improvement. National Recognition for Armand Larive Broadcasting Students Rob Doherty, ALTV advisor, recognized students in Armand Larive Middle School’s broadcasting program for earning multiple national honors at the National Student Television Network convention in Tampa, Florida. Student teams received national recognition in several categories, including a second-place national finish in the Human Interest Feature category. Business Office Katie Saul presented the March financial reports, including updates on tax collections, state school funding adjustments, spring corrections, expenditures, and projected ending fund balance. Discussion included declining interest revenue, a projected negative spring correction tied to poverty count adjustments, and the district’s plan to maintain a 10% ending fund balance.
