Oregon Department of Education Adds Hermiston to Summer Learning Grant Program
The Oregon Department of Education has awarded Hermiston School District $1,000,000 through the State Summer Learning Grant program, using unspent biennium resources to expand summer learning opportunities for local students.
Hermiston was selected as one of four newly added districts from the original competitive grant process. Funding covers Summer 2026, with potential continuation through 2028 pending legislative appropriation and program review.
